I bought this console about 2 years ago and in more than 100 shows have had almost no problems with it. I had to replace the original hard drive 18 months ago (the HD was original, and apparently HES had a run of bad drives. They told me they were surprised the original drive lasted as long as it had. ) The console has been very stable for me. The only problems I encountered were patch related- I found myself in situations where I was adding local fixtures to my touring rig, and after replicating my existing fixtures, then changing their types (an awesome feature BTW), the console would slow down for a few minutes while the Dp caught up. I had no problems during shows (none that were console related, anyway). I really hate to have to sell, but I don't need the console (new gig), and could use the money. Console was manufactured in January of 2004 The software was up to date in December of 2007. The console comes with a very nice ATA style road case.
